Meet the Organizer

Alana Martin is passionate about organizing, recycling, helping clients find homes for unwanted items, and other earth-friendly practices.

Over the past 20 years, she has served as an office manager, event manager, assistant to a CEO, trainer and image consultant for various employers in Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. In her work with technology, health care, childcare, and training firms, she invented efficient paper and electronic filing systems, supervised moving companies, optimized traffic flow by rearranging furniture and equipment, taught executives how to manage their time more effectively, and relocated entire businesses and households.

She received professional training from Paauwerfully Organized and has continued her education through workshops, training, and professional organization memberships.

Combining her expertise with a huge market need, Alana opened Winged Pig - Organizing Solutions in 2003. In response to those who believe they’ll “get organized when pigs fly,” she brings order to chaos. Her company specializes in teaching owners how to organize their businesses, but she also works with employees, homeowners, teachers, seniors, and home-based businesses. She is available as a speaker on organizing tips to businesses, professional meetings and community groups.
